Pipeline-in-a-product
MLT-001 was designed as a pipeline-in-a-product. An mRNA-LNP injected directly into target fat depots, MLT-001 will seek four indications: Aesthetic Precision Fat Loss, lipedema, treatment-resistant hypertension, and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

To our knowledge, MLT-001 is the first Precision Fat Loss medicine that burns fat rather than destroying it. Competitors, both approved and in development, destroy adipose tissue, making them risky near delicate structures like the heart and kidney. Weight-loss drugs work slowly and do not provide targeted results.
MLT-001 aims to outperform current PFL treatments across three key categories:

MLT-001 does not destroy tissue, avoiding nerve injuries and prolonged swelling.
Through its thermogenic mechanism, MLT-001 is expected to improve cardiometabolic health, positioning it as the first potential “healthy" aesthetic medicine.
